Day with Our Lady of Fatima in Birmingham

Bishop Robert Byrne will preside at a Day with Our Lady of Fatima at:

St Francis Catholic Church,
Hunters Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, B19 1EB
on Saturday 4th June 2016, from 10:00 am—4:15 pm

The Day will include the Enthronement and Crowning of the National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima by Bishop Robert Byrne, and veneration of the Relics of Blessed Jacinta and Francisco.

There will also be talks by Timothy Tindal-Robertson, the National President of WAF England and Wales, on Fatima and the Year of Mercy, and by Donal Foley, the WAF Secretary, on the Five First Saturdays and the Rosary, as well as investiture in the Brown Scapular by Fr Gerard Kelly, the Spiritual Director of WAF England and Wales and parish priest of St Francis of Assisi church.

10:15        Recitation of the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary

10:45        Introduction of the Day by Fr Gerard Kelly

11:00        Holy Mass
Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

12:15    Veneration of the Relics of Blessed Jacinta and Francisco and
Recitation of the Litany of Blessed Jacinta and Francisco
Sacrament of Confession

12:30    Talk regarding Fatima and the Year of Mercy by Tim Tindal-Robertson

13:00    Packed Lunch

13:45    Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, with 15 minutes meditation from Sr Lucia’s book “Calls” From the Message regarding the Immaculate Heart of Mary

14:15    Talk regarding First Saturday Devotion with PowerPoint presentation

15:00    Divine Mercy chaplet

15:10    Tea break

15:30    Investiture of the Brown Scapular and Explanation of Consecration
